I am sorry but I am also a nurse and want the #### out of nursing, its not always about the money, its about having security and liking the job you do. here in texas we are saturated with nurses, too many and not enough jobs! no shortage here. we have tons of nursing schools and every 5 months new grads are coming out hungry! sorry but I hate wiping #### and wondering what happened to my CNA! I want a job that is secured and the goal is to work from home, I am not saying give up the nursing lic but even with a BSN which is BS nurse nothing comes knockling on my door just because of it. I get the same response "all though your resume is empressive, we have decided to pursue other canadates" what the ####!!! I have been out of a job for over a year now with nursing... so tell me, why not get out of it??? what else can a out of work nurse do? I am still paying for that student loan....what a waste of money and time.. really dont want to go back to school and fork over more money for another career that just might be satuated too! just like coding! too many and not enough jobs or they want you to have 2 to 5 years expereince first, just doing coding, they dont care about nursing! too different things. any comment?
